Exclusive Hand-carved Mezcal Gourd or Jicara with Natural base is handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico, the birthplace of mezcal. Artisans from this region have repurposed dried gourds and turned them into mezcal drinking vessels, or jicaras. These intricate hand-carved gourds are transformed into works of art by carving them with images of hummingbirds, jaguars, and other nature-inspired images. With a special engraving of the artist's name, and Lolo Mercadito.

• Care:  Since these cups are organic in nature, they will break down if they’re left damp, so be sure to only hand-wash and immediately dry after use. Also, please note that no amount of careful attention will keep these cups pristine after sustained exposure to alcohol, which eventually breaks down organic matter.
